The Northbay adventure camp offers a free week of camp for military children ages 9 to 12. The children with a parent who recently deployed or has a service related illness or injury post 9/11 have priority. Soldiers and civilians set up stations with fun military related activities for the children to cycle through. Activities include a red, white and blue color run, a tour of a military helicopter and a lesson on how to cook and eat a meal, ready to eat. Supporting units in the event include the 20th Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Command, the Army Test and Evaluation Command, Edgewood Chemical and Biological Center, A-3 Air Defense Artillery and Army Garrison Aberdeen Proving Grounds.
