The former Minister for War during World War Two - Lord Hore-Belisha lived in this Georgian house in Westminster, Central London. As well as being Secretary of State for War between 1937 and 1940, as Transport Minister he introduced the driving test and speed limits. The flashing light at pedestrian crossings - the Belisha Beacon - is named after him. Historic building, over 200 years old. Photographed from public pavement.
