ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 23, 2020) Aviation Ordnanceman 3rd Class Guillermo Merced, from Bayamon, Puerto Rico, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) weapons department, is presented with his "Wolverine of the Day" certificate by Capt. John J. Cummings, Ford's commanding officer, right, and Command Master Chief De'Andre Beaufort in the ship's pilot house. Merced joined the Navy to better himself and provide for his family.
