31/10/21 Strining their bodies, faces and bicycles, competitors brave torrential rain as they struggle up Winnats Pass in the Derbyshire Peak District near Castleton. The Road Time Trials Council (RTTC) National Hill Climb event, last held here in 1977, saw 300 cyclists, takle the mile climb which ascends a leg-bursting 140 metres, has an average gradient of 16% and peaks at 23% near the finish.
