An edition of the magazine World of Wonder published in the 1970s reports on the story of the shooting down of a Libyan airliner by Israel. Libyan Arab Airlines Flight 114 was a regularly scheduled flight from Tripoli to Cairo via Benghazi that, on 21st February 1973, was shot down by Israeli fighter jets after flying off course into prohibited airspace. World of Wonder was a British educational magazine for children published by IPC's Fleetway Publications (formerly Amalgamated Press) from 1970 to 1975.
