This species seems to be chiefly north- â¢'I'li; I have seen a specimen, however, which was said to have heeii caught in Maryland. i\t first sight, this species looks very like tlie European P. rirnsa L. ; still the longitudinal brown band along the abdomen, in till' latter, seems to be more continuous, and not composed
