Combat photographer Gunnery Sergeant Eyron G. Highland, from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, prepares to continue a search and clear operation in the Street Without Joy during Operation Chinook II. This photograph was taken on February 21, 1967, by LCpl Laighty, documenting the activities of the 3rd Marine Division in Vietnam. Sgt. Highland was tragically killed in action on the same day.
