Light micrograph of follicular lymphoma showing irregularly-shaped, closely-packed, neoplastic follicles lacking mantle zones. Follicular lymphoma accounts for about 20% of all lymphomas. It is composed of follicular centre (germinal centre) B lymphocytes, usually both centrocytes and centroblasts. It retains follicular pattern at least partially. Hematoxylin and eosin stain.
