Adjoining their Far-nam street store they have afive-story warehouse, frontingon Harney street, and in ad-dition to this they have twoother extensive warehouses onTenth and Eleventh Dewey, in 1S70, went toEurope to recuperate hishealth. He made an exten-sive tour of the Continent, andbecame imbued with a greatdesire of travel and sight-seeing. This desire he hassince gratified, and the con-sequence is that he has seensince 1870 nearly every placeon the face of the globe worthvisiting.
