They are fitted with every modern con-venience and safeguard of health. The Alumni Hall is a largebuilding, splendidly constructed and reserved for the offices ofadministration and for lecture rooms. The year 1901-02 wasmarked also by the installation of a central heating plant, whichsupplies all of the fourteen buildings on the campus. This system,with the electric lights supplied by the same plant, insures comfort 3. and safety to students. Health is also safeguarded by the newsystem of water works and sewerage. Both have been installed inall the buildings. The water works supply an abundance of pure,filtered water, and the sewers have been most carefully and scien-tifically constructed.
