'Hippy', 1871. A caricature of Lionel Dawson-Damer (1832-1892), British politician. Dawson-Damer was Conservative MP for Portarlington in Ireland from 1857-1865 and from 1868-1880. In 1889 he succeeded his cousin as Earl of Portarlington. A print from Vanity Fair, 18 November 1871.
