A North European Viking sword, 10th/11th century AD. Double-edged blade of lenticular section, the point damaged. Straight quillons tapering towards the ends. Slender tang with one-piece pommel. The surfaces heavily cleaned and reworked, slight remains of pitting. Length 83 cm.
