An amazing urban park called Paddington Reservoir Gardens, Paddington, Sydney. This space won the Australian Award for Urban Design in 2009. It has been completely transformed from its former life and was previously a vital source of water for Sydney in the 19th Century. The restoration project restored much of the reservoirs orginal framework, and orignial brick, timber and iron fixtures were salvaged. Contemporary and sustainable elements have been added to maintain a balance of old and new. A Wollemi Pine at Paddington Reservoir, one of the world's oldest and rarest plants dating back to the time of dinosaurs.
