Autumn, and must be taken up before severe frost and stored away in a cool cellar, in sand, or a pit where they will keep tender and crisp ail winter. New-Radish Triumph. This novelty is the most at- tractive! in appearance of the many beautiful va- rieties; of this popular class of vegetables. The roots are round with small top: the color is unique; white splashed and striped with bright scarlet. In our trial grounds the past season we found them nearly all true to description, there being very few of solid color. It is one of the earliest, is crisp, tender and of mild flavor; is ex- ceptionally good for cultivation under glass and does well in the open ground. The color, when used either alone or bunched with other sorts, gives it a very striking appearance in the market as well as on the table. Pkt. 10c, oz. 30c. Early Scarlet Olive Shaped. A beautiful variety; color deep scarlet; flesh tender and excellent; very early; fine for forcing or general crop. Pkt. 5c, oz. 10c, y^b. 20c, lb. 60c. Early White, Olive Shaped. Skin very white; grows quickly and is one of the earliest; flesh white and crisp. Pkt. 5c, oz. 10c, l/4Vb. 20c, lb. 60c. French Breakfast. A splendid variety of medium size; olive shaped; very crisp and tender, of a beautiful scarlet color; small top. and very rapid growth. Pkt. 5c. oz. 10c, J4ib. 20c. ft. 55c. Chartier. The color at the top is crimson, running into pink about the middle; thence downward it is pure waxy white. It is very crisp, ten- der and of pleasant flavor; the best second early.
