London, UK. 8th October 2016. Sid Skill of Class War holds up a poster 'Lambeth Council Demolition Crew' with picutres of Council Leader Lib Peck and councillors Matthew Bennett, Sue Foster and Jack Hopkins naming them as 'Home Wreckers', for their policy of demolishing council estates. Lambeth is the most unequal borough in the whole of England and Wales, and the council's regeneration plans will force many Lambeth residents out of the area. The council have refused to properly consider alternative plans for estates such as Central Hill which would retain existing properties and residents and campaigners say thier policies of demolishing council estates, closing libraries and driving out local businesses are "destroying our communities, racial and social inequality" and "stealing the people of Lambeth's future." The borough's motto is Spectemur Agendo, Let us be judged by our acts, and many in Lambeth have judged the council and found it guilty. Peter Marshall/Alamy Live News
