The teams are made up of selected players from Aix-les- Baines and Shailes-les- Aix, many of whom were professionals from minor leagues in the United States. Batteries included Puller pitcher (Michigan League), Butler catcher, Sweeney pitcher, and McCarthy catcher (Ohio League). This game took place in Aix-les- Bains, France. The photograph was released by the A. E. P. Censor, but the exact release date is unknown."
