Glowing ash rising from a volcanic vent on the Pico do Fogo volcano. This active stratovolcano is the highest peak of the island of Fogo in the Cape Verde islands in the Atlantic west of Africa. This ash eruption was part of the activity that occurred between 30 November and 3 December 2014.
