SAN DIEGO (July 2, 2018) Fire Controlman 2nd Class Jesus Viera, from Dallas, initializes the SPS-48 radar during pre-underway checks aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Bonhomme Richard is currently in its homeport of San Diego, preparing for an upcoming scheduled deployment.
