Hills tribe woman resident in the Doi Inthanon National Park Chiang Mai province of Thailand. These tribal people of the Lah, Akha and Lisu peoples are disinquished from the other hill tribes by their languages. They migrated from the Shan states of Burm and from Yunnan. The all use silver ornaments because it is plentiful in Yunnan and in the upper Irrawaddy in Burma.
