KABUL, Afghanistan – Danish Col. Kim Poulsen, Defense Attaché at the Danish embassy in Afghanistan, stands on the road where the Danish Peace and Stabilization foundation, in coordination with Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan (CSTC-A), is sponsoring a $ million road and drainage improvement project slated for the summer of 2017. This project is part of the Kandahar Air Wing’s (KAW) Life Support Area on Kandahar Air Field, which houses flight, ground and maintenance personnel. The project will enhance the KAW’s ability to protect the people of Afghanistan.
