ARABIAN GULF (May 9, 2017) An F/A-18E Super Hornet attached to the "Golden Warriors" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 87 flies above the aircraft carrier USS George Bush (CVN 77) (GHWB). GHWB is deployed in the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
