St Botolph's Church, Helpston, Cambridgeshire, UK.


Parish church in the village that was the birthplace of the English poet John Clare. He is buried in the churchyard. The base of the church tower is early Norman, and Saxon foundations were discovered during renovations. The church was extensively renovated in the 19th century, with the unusual octagonal tower being added to the Norman base
