Therizinosaurus dinosaurs. Artwork of a group of Therizinosaurus dinosaurs foraging in a semi-arid desert landscape. This herbivorous dinosaur's fossils were originally discovered in Mongolia, and date to around 70 million years ago, during the Cretaceous period. The largest specimens discovered may have been nine metres from head to tail, with the distinctive large claws being a metre long.
