Good blooming plants were plentiful in this market, with more cyc- lamens and begonias grown than ever before. Cut stock promises to go the same way, advance orders showing that the retailer is alive to his opportunity. Various Notes. Joseph Hill, of Richmond, Ind., and Henry Sheppard, of Hill's Cincinnati store, were visitors recently. They took in the wholesale market and called on the downtown stores and a few green- houses, under the guidance of Herman Knoble. Alterations in the store of Knoble Bros, are completed and the force is ready for the rush. The firm now has one of the best looking stores in the mid- dle west; the improvements made have worked wonders in the appearance of the store. Monday evening, .January 8, the Flo- rists' Club will hold a bulb night.
