Zamora enlisted in the Marine Corps in February 2014 and serves as a postal clerk aboard MCLBB. Both Zamora and Hernandez also received certificates of recognition from Congressman Paul Cook, 33rd District California Assemblyman Jay Obernolte, San Bernardino County Supervisor James Ramos, and the City of Barstow. The two Marines also received a free night’s stay at Ayers Hotel in Barstow, $100 in cash and challenge coins from Alaska Federal Credit Union.
