Beauty perception: composite \world\" model. This composite computer image of the faces of 24 fashion models is one of four illustrating beauty in models. Faces of 8 Afro-Caribbean models, including supermodel Naomi Campbell, 8 Japanese models and 8 Caucasian models were taken from fashion magazines and then combined by computer to give the composite, multi-cultural, \"world\" model's face shown here. The images are part of work in which scientists concluded that beautiful faces do not have average features. (See also P870/087, P870/088 and P870/089)."
