Historical etching showing three separate pictures of various fish


19th Century etching showing three pictures of fish. The first shows a collection of four fish, including Red Mullet and Bream. The second picture shows six fish on the sea shore with sail boats in the background. Fish in this picture include Atlantic Cod, Whiting and Skate. The final picture shows two goldfish bowls on a table separated by a vase of flowers. The bowls contain CyprinusAuratus (Goldfish) and Trachipterus Spinolae (Ribbon Fish). The sepia toned etching is originally from the German book Bilder Atlas published in Leipzig by F A Brockhurst. The engraver was Henry Winkles.
