Dublin, Ireland. 11th Oct, 2017. A recently issued postage stamp depicting revolutionary Socialist icon or mass murderer depending on point of view has provoked controversy in Ireland and amongst Cuban exiles in USA. The stamps was issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of Che Guevara with approval of the Irish government. The artist who designed the stamp, Jim Fitzpatrick, says it was an “honour” to produce the image and praises An Post for the decision to use it. Credit: Richard Wayman/Alamy Live News
