RINGS FOR FOWLS LEGS (Beginner).—For ordinary stock copper wire pig rings do as wellas anything, and the pullets can be ringed whennearly full grown, on the right leg one year and onthe left the next. For pedigree stock and formarking the different strains in one breed when quiteyoung small celluloid rings can be purchased. Thesemust be watched and removed for larger ones as thechicken grows. A more convenient way is to use atoe punch, as this leaves an indelible mark and canbe used when a few weeks old. I cannot givenames of firms in these columns.—G. A. P.
