The agent ran after the womanand attempted to help her on while thetrain was in motion. A serious accidentwas very narrowly averted. No one,especially a woman, should attempt toget on a moving train, and our agentsand employes should dissuade themfrom doing so rather than attempt tohelp them on. From this same train a man had gottenoff to make a purchase in a store andattempted to jump on the train after ithad started. This is the way passengersare, very often, seriously injured orkilled.—Su
