This isespecially tiiie of the fear stimulus, and has been clearlydemonstrated in the brains of rabbits which had been sub-jected to fear alone fFig. 13). Of special interest was theeffect of daily fright. In this case the l)rain-cells showed adistinct change, although the animal had been subjected tono fear for twenty-four hours before it was killed (Fig. 13 C).
