In the lymphaticform, arsenic in the form of Fowlers solution gives the best results. It is an affection beginning with the enlargementof the l:\mph nodes of the neck, usually of one side, and accompaniedby an enlarged spleen and liver. In the spleen, liver, and other organsthere are nodular growths. There is a progressive cachexia accom-panied by febrile periods. The disease is fatal either in a short timeof a few months or after a period of two or three years, during whichthere may be intervals of improvement.
