The Aberdeen-Angus and the Galloways are natives of Scotland. In color they are black, and have no horns. HOLSTEIN CATTLE. The Holstein, the largest of our dairy breeds, came from Holland. They are black and white in color. They consume a large amount of roughage and coarse fodder. They give a large flow of milk, but the percentage of butter fat is not as high as in some of the other breeds. Their milk is especially adapted to cheese-making.
