Samson Rending the Lion (1758). Gilded and coloured wooden statue by Baroque sculptor Johann Georg Pinsel on display at the exhibition in the Winterpalais in Vienna, Austria. The statue was a part of the main altar in a parish church in the village of Hodowica near Lviv, Ukraine. The exhibition devoted to Baroque sculptor Johann Georg Pinsel active in Red Ruthenia (then in Poland, now Ukraine) from the collection of the Lviv National Art Gallery runs till 12 February 2017.
