PORTSMOUTH, Va. — The Coast Guard and partner agencies are searching for a man in the vicinity of the Chesapeake Bay, Monday afternoon. Missing is Leeroy Brussels of Cockrell Creek. He was last reported departing Cockrell Creek aboard a 27-foot boat named Old Soldier. The Coast Guard launched an MH-60 helicopter crew from Air Station Elizabeth City, 45-foot Response Boat-Medium rescue boat crews from Stations Milford Haven and Cape Charles and also searching is a Virginia Marine Police aircraft crew.
