At present the machine is turned by the hand crank shown, and a boy turnswhile a man attends to the winding, but they willsoon be fixed to operate by power, in which case one man off entirely when a coil is to be pushed in. By looseningthe other clamp screw in the arm the cap can be taken offentirely when a coil is to be taken off.
