Post Office franking machine for large first class stamps for parcels

The Royal Mail Horizon Label is a large gold printed label utilising the Machin Head of Queen Elizabeth II. Used on parcels and packets and to make up postage on other items bearing some stamps these labels are overprinted at the Post Office counter with details such as the class of mail and the postage charge. Both the engraved head and the background are formed of waves of the words "Royal Mail", the head having the smaller print size. To try and prevent reuse the label has security cuts.
