Marine Corps Sgt. Jomar Negron, a howitzer section chief with Bravo Battery, Battalion Landing Team 1/1, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), performs routine maintenance on an M777 towed 155mm howitzer during Deployable Group Systems Integration Testing (DGSIT) at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Jan. 27, 2021. DGSIT was the first MEU-level predeployment exercise which evaluated the 11th MEU’s command and control (C2), C2 equipment readiness and communication systems interoperability.
