MODEL RELEASED. Preparing bacterial samples. Barcode scanner being used by a laboratory worker to record sets of pre-prepared bacterial analysis cards before incubation. These cards contain analysis wells, which contain chemicals that change colour if a particular bacterial culture is present. Samples are added to the cards, and they are then incubated to obtain the test results. Photographed at Clinique St Pierre, a biological laboratory in Ottignies, Belgium.
