Alfred workedat farming and later learned the trade of a stonecutter,,which he has followed some years, cutting tombstonesand other work. He owns a farm of seventy-two City Recorder ten years, a member of the City Coun-cil several years and City Treasurer four years. Is oneof the presidents of the Forty-seventh quorum and hasbeen secretary thirty years. In the fall of 81 he went, ona two years mission. Was an active man during the•Black Hawk Avar, and in 62 went back to the Missouririver after emigrants. Was married in Ephraim, De-cember 18, 1862, to Sophia Warrillo of England. They. HAXS C. H.
