Air pollution haze is seen over Krakow and its northern suburbs as temperatures dropped below 0 degree Celsius. The air pollution was declared very unhealthy and particulate matter ( ) concentration was 30 times more than the World Health Organization (WHO) annual air quality guidelines. The low temperatures forced the city inhabitants to heat up their homes.
