Staff Sgt. Alyssa Willis, America’s First Corps Base Defense Operations Center’s Operations Noncommissioned Officer, provides mentorship to radio telecommunication operator Spc. Patrick Sjoding during Warfighter Exercise 19-1. Warfighter Exercise 19-1 is an organizational mission command training exercise that began on October 1, 2018 on Joint Base Lewis-McChord that included units from across America’s First Corps and attached components from the Army National Guard. This exercise gave the units the opportunity to hone their skills and test their capabilities through simulated battle drills.
