Fridge with open door. If the door is left open, the warmer air outside will start to mix with the cooler air inside the fridge. The fridge will draw on more electrical power in an attempt to keep the food chilled, but will be attempting to cool the entire room and will use lots of extra electricity and eventually overheat. If the food warms up it may start to spoil and need to be thrown away.
