Posteriorly the bands be- come narrower and fade gradually, although they can be distinguished to the vent (the darker edges disappear after the first 10 bands). The tail is uni- form medium brown. The venter is dull whitish but flecked heavily by grayish brown, flecking increas- ing posteriorly. MUSM 5533 (Rio Znna Study Site. Adult Male, 472 nun SVL). The color is essentially as in ANSP.
