Peninsula of Ardamurchan, Scotland. Artistic close up view a foghorn at the 1849, Alan Stevenson designed, Ardnamurchan Lighthouse. The lighthouse is situated at the most westerly point of the UK mainland. Although automated in 1988, the lighthouse is still fully operational. This photograph has been produced by merging three differently exposed images of the same scene. All of which were captured at approximately the same time - on a tripod mounted camera – and digitally processed to produce the resulting artistic rendition of the scene.
