It is lightest of draught and turns with the utmost ease. A shaft or axle of polished machinery steel, babbited and self oiling (patented) bearings, balanced drums revolving inde- pendently on the shaft (when turning corners only) explain why the users of the "Superior" do not tire their horses and break their roller poles. It is practically indestructible. A hardened steel rim rolled and close riveted at the edges; heavy hard wood felloes forced into place by iron wedge blocks; steel spokes, with double adjusted lock nuts, explain this. It is fair to add, how- ever, that flexible journal boxes, flexible hangers and the peculiar (patented) construction, all add to the durability.
