A German two-handed sword, circa 1600 Straight, double-edged blade with slight medial ridge. The long ricasso with split guards and decorated with a pattern of struck waves and lines. Extended quillons with guard rings on each side and cut with decorative tendrils. Replaced grip with cord winding covered in leather. Double tapered pommel with matching chiselled decoration.
