New in 2016, the Donation Points near the south and north ends of Blackpool Illuminations were underneath a very colourful square-shaped arch of changing lights between ends with blue, red, green twists, red stars and speckled lights. The promenade below the arch, looking north towards the Bling Illuminations sponsored by Beaverbrooks the Jewellers, is busy with cars reflecting the green lights above. A lady wearing a red safety blouse stands at the collection office door on the south-bound carriageway.
