Portrait of Alfonso XII of Spain, nicknamed the Pacifier (Madrid 1857 - El Pardo 1885). King of Spain between 1874 and 1885. Son of Queen Elizabeth II and the consort king Francisco de Asís de Borbón, ended the First Republic and gave way to the period known as Restoration.
