Christopher Taylor House Jones-borough Tennessee

When the autumn colors start to show in the Southern Appalachian Mountains it is time for the National Storytelling Festival. People travel to the oldest town in Tennessee Jones-borough to see and listen to the latest stories true or false from around the county. The Christopher Taylor House was built around 1778 and was used by United States President Andrew Jackson while he lived in Jones-borough. He returned here after fighting his first duel in a hollow just north of town.
